There’s good news for the tiny tots in Sharjah. As per the latest news reports by WAM, H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, approved the plan of the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA), which is on government nurseries in Sharjah for the current academic year 2023-2024.
It’s been reported that the new proposal will include a new nursery in the Al Hamriyah area and expanding nurseries in the Central Region of the emirate. All children who were on the waiting list will be accommodated.
There’s more information available about new nurseries! The construction of a new nursery in Dibba Al Hisn will accommodate 25 children on the waiting list and more children in the plan approved by His Highness Sharjah Ruler.
In Sharjah, the plan, that was approved by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, included accommodating 500 children on the waiting list. This will be achieved by opening two new nurseries at the beginning of the school year in Al Suyoh and Wasit suburbs to accommodate 178 children each and renting a new nursery to accommodate the remaining 141 children on the waiting list, stated a news report by WAM. Also, H.H. Sheikh Sultan approved 62 scholarships for the Sharjah Maritime Academy’s students for 2023-2024.
